What is EMDR?

EMDR is a simple but efficient therapy using bilateral stimulation (BLS) ─ tapping,

What can EMDR be used for?

In addition to its use for the treatment of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, EMDR has been successfully used to treat:

 anxiety and panic attacks

 depression

 stress

 phobias

 sleep problems

 complicated grief

 addictions

 pain relief, phantom limb pain

 self-esteem and performance anxiety

EMDR Therapists

EMDR Therapists must have a master's degree and be trained and supervised for over a period of multiple years by a certified trainer. Certified EMDR Therapists must be fully licensed.

MCN has multiple EMDR therapists available to help!

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE) remain the most effective treatments; They are recommended over medications.
